Hey Gordon Lightfoot Discussion Forums,

Please allow me to introduce myself... My name is Tim and I'm thirty years old, I work in Oakville and live in Hamilton, Ontario.

I've loved Gordon Lightfoot ever since I was a young boy. I've seen Lightfoot live three times on Saturday May 8, 1998 at Massey Hall, on Saturday November 13, 1999 at Massey Hall and at his first full gig back since his illness on Sunday November 28, 2004 at Hamilton Place.

I've seen a couple of artists cover Lightfoot's material live including The Tragically Hip at Another Roadside Attraction perform "Summer Side of Life" in 1995 and Bob Dylan perform "I'm Not Supposed to Care" in 1998.

I won't get too much into the many artists that I listen to as I'm not writing a book. I will say that Neil Young and Bob Dylan are my two favorite artists. I've seen Young 33 times and Dylan 22 times.

I look forward to interesting discussions with like minded people who love Gordon Lightfoot at this forum.

Take it easy, Tim
