Question about seating at Massey Hall

Good morning!

Does anyone have experience with sightlines at Massey Hall? I generally like to be as close as possible, see the whites of their eyes ... and that would be seat B44 right centre...

Re: CASINO RAMA SETLIST - Apr.20,2012

Agreeing with the others; a poetical description - that is exactly how I feel listening to his songs, Lisa!

I think, perhaps, there was another poet in...

Re: CD Launch @ Indigo Books-pics and video

She is a bully and had an agenda. To me, it seemed she was rudely pushing to see if she could get more out of GL than he wanted to reveal, misusing her role as host to do so.

She fully...

Re: CD Launch @ Indigo Books-pics and video

I know! Imagine my surprise, I'm now Lina.

I was at Hugh's room on the Friday ... unbelievably fantastic night. Adored Lori's arrangement so I bought her CD. Then 2 others. Hers is the...

Re: CD Launch @ Indigo Books-pics and video

What a great guy! So normal. Not many celebrities would hang about and banter in so friendly a way with almost everyone. He even said I couldn't do Winter's night on autoharp. So charming he would...

Re: CD Launch @ Indigo Books-pics and video

This is an odd question, I realize, but is GL's new love a tall, svelte woman with grey hair - worn in a bun or pony tail? A hippyish style. I was talking with a lady who was sitting on a bookshelf...

Re: Rainy Day People - A G.Lightfoot Cover

Did any of you guys get to Hugh's Room and see the cover by Lori Cullen? Love that gal, and would love to play around with that electric autoharp thing of hers.

Re: Photos from Vintage Toronto

Quite beautiful that song, I must look up more by Ewan MacColl - I'm a lyrics junkie, but the tunes are also wonderful. Emotional vibrato, purity - yes that's it.

Re: Writing GORDON LIGHTFOOT - book excerpt

I meant I'M going to read Cathy's book because Bidini warned GL away from it ;)

I was thinking that a scaled down, less formal than Mariposa folk music jam might be fun in the waterfront park...

Just finished Writing Gordon Lightfoot...

I loved the descriptions of the scene. Mariposa.

Although I was too young for that scene I feel drawn to the idea of a scaled down "unplugged" outdoor event/jam session with a folk music theme....

Re: HE"S IN!!! He's an INDUCTEE!! 2012 Songwriters Hall of Fame nominees - LIGHTFOOT!

It seems a tad weird he's not been given that honour already. Kris Kristofferson (sp?) isn't as relevant anymore as Gord is now. Nothing against KK - love some of his stuff, but really.
