Ever notice how Gordon clearly articulates the sung word?

There is something very deliberate yet fluid about the way Gordon sings his songs, specifically in how he takes great care to pronounce each word as he sings it, right down to the last consonant of...

Re: Gord's Pedigree

No relationship with Oh, Linda's family.

Interesting, I noticed, that the men married women not just younger than them, but 2, 4, 7, 12 and 14 years younger. And the farther back you go the...

Last week here in southeast Michigan we had night-time low temperatures in the 30's with frost warnings! To the north of us it was freezing!

Re: More Gord Memories

I remember as a kid hearing Sundown on the radio. I already knew who Gordon Lightfoot was at the time but my family didn't have any of his music. So on one of our family outings in our station wagon...

Very befitting, he looks like he's enjoying the day. Besides, judging from his cool shoes he looks like he could either be on his way to or just home from bowling. I think he looks rather dapper.

I LOVE this interview, well Gordon that is :)

He seems so relaxed, happy with where he's at in life, looking good, and he's still got it goin' on (that is, still sexy and charming at 70)!

Re: "Black Day in July" Gets Airtime On The Radio

I bet that was pretty cool. By the way, I used to live in Mahwah, NJ for a couple of years back in '98-'00. Right at the state line of NJ/NY at the crossroads of Hwy 17 and 287.
