"The fireworks show will last 20 minutes, so it will be a long show and a beautiful show," Joly said. "The [Canadian Museum of History] is really going to be the best spot to watch." She added that the annual fireworks display will be triple the usual size. More than 15,000 fireworks will be launched from five different locations surrounding the downtown core, providing a 360-degree view of the illuminated sky. Re: CANADA 150 events in OTTAWA with Gordon!
Audio feedback throughout which nobody could correct. 3 piece band. Too hard to pinpoint? Lol
White Hourse started and deadmau5 pretty much closed. Animal name acts rule. Heh Piano on Carefree was my highlight. Lol None of the 3 song choices are thematic. But very recognizable to the masses. So many to choose from that could have.... nous vivon ensemble Gord and Rick are a heck of a duo. Happy upcoming 4th to USA friends |

Sundown in French
At the Canada Day concert at Parliament Hill, before Gord performed If You Could Read My Mind, three female singers did a brief tribute, singing Carefree Highway and Sundown. One of the ladies sang much of Sundown in French. Most impressive! She had long blonde hair and wore glasses.
Does anyone know her name? Thanks, Brian |

Re: CANADA 150 events in OTTAWA with Gordon!
I would put the banjo gal as having the richest vocal, then Serena... i think the obvious choices were to have them sing Nous Vivons Ensemble with French spec gal featured... then CRT, of course... anyone who hasn't seen Gord sing IYCRMM in the past several TV performances or over the past 50 years, is the type who aint gonna make it past Gord intensively focusing on, and adjusting his mic ...pretty cool stuff, Brian :)
