I'm still so shocked at this news.. he was a lovely guy and a great storyteller... I was looking forward to seeing him on Wednesday Nov.23 at the first of the concerts at Massey..

Just returned from the visitation with our mutual friend Paul Bartlett. The two Paul's would have guitar sessions together as they lived close by. Very sad day all over.
Good's music was playing in the background and the beautiful Martin guitar that was given to him by Paul was sitting in it's stand where he was resting.

Thanks Ron, I'm glad you and Paul made it to the visitation..
sigh...the amazing thing is I knew Paul back in the early 70's and didn't know it until a few years ago when he asked me about knowing a friend he played guitar with.. he 3 of us had gone to a park in Etobicoke I think and I shot some publicity pics of them...I came across one of the many pics and was bringing it to show him as a surprise in 2 weeks. I guess the other guy has all the other prints and negatives. I don't remember...but Paul remembered me from back when i was about 17 years old...We had many great phone conversations and I will miss them and him...

i remember meeting Paul J at the Toronto hotel room jam (before I ever met John Stinson) ... he was playing wonderful ad-lib guitar licks behind me for hours ... i had to keep turning sideways with my guitar so people could get to the washroom

many laughs we shared that weekend, but my condolences to those who knew him better over the years ... Ron, John, Paul B, Char, Scott, TG...
