Gordon Lightfoot Forums - Newest Lighthead

Our first granddaughter arrived 12/12/14 at 1:38 PM weighing in at 7 lbs 3 oz and 19.5". Her name is Natalie Ann and she is a beauty but gave her momma a hard time (26 hours of labor including 5+ hours of pushing.) Grandma here was there for every minute and has the plantar fascitis in my left heel to show for it. I am living on ibuprofen at the moment but there were no complications except for being a forceps delivery so we are all grateful. Daddy is in the US Navy and managed to be there as well. Christmas stand down begins next week so he will have more time to be home. Grandpa comes this weekend to visit and pick me up (I won't lie, I am looking forward to being home). All three grandchildren are healthy so we have much to be grateful for this year.
