Gordon Lightfoot issued 37 Greatests Hits Collections between the years 1966 and 1973. 2. During this period, he actually recorded 3 different songs." and revealed a worrying fixation with Sylvia Fricker's cleavage Yesterday I was trying to fnd details of the 1986 Ian and Sylvia Reunion concert and found yet another of his rants at http://www.chromehorse.net/rants/ran...lovinsound.htm In my previous thread I had said Quote:

As I had a reason for referring to Bill Van Dyk's almost true rant about the proliferation of Lightfoot "Greatest Hits" albums I googled for "Gordon Lightfoot rant Van Dyk".
In addition to finding the rant I wanted the search results included this corfid thread plus another rant about Ian and Sylvia with the inspiring image of her cleavage http://www.chromehorse.net/rants/rants2009/20091218_lovinsound.htm plus another thoughtful essay on the lyrics of Sit Down Young Stranger that I had not found during earlier searches and I found it was well worth a read so thought I should add its URL to this thread http://www.chromehorse.net/rants/rants2005/20051013_sitdown.htm |
