The result in Melbourne was USA 7 v Canada 4. This levelled the series at 2-2. Then in the deciding game in Sydney, USA defeated Canada 5-4 and won the Douglas Webber Cup. |

It's on again in June 2015. JJ, sorry I overlooked your questions last year. There are no outdoor ice hockey rinks in Australia, as the sport is not popular enough (and our climate wouldn't be suitable anyway). From the promotional website links, I understand the coaches and at least some of the players have been well-known participants in major professional leagues and I assume they have represented their countries before. |
