Antigonish singer song writer Francis Arsenault thought it was a joke when he received an email from Gordon Lightfoot’s management. They asked if he’d be interested in performing before Lightfoot steps on the stage for a show in Antigonish. When reality settled in, Arsenault says he jumped at the chance. Arsenault says Lightfoot’s music struck a chord with him a long time ago and he’s been inspired since then.

Arsenault is performing at a pre-reception show. The Lightfoot concert is taking place April 29th at the Keating Centre on on the St. FX campus.
