This is silly
 

A shameless plug for sympathy...I sneezed this morning and tore cartilage in my rib cage! X-rays, the whole nine yards. Opting for Jimmy Buffet inspired remedies tonight...pharmaceuticals tomorrow. But I proudly say, "Quien es mas macho?!" I sneeze so powerfully I do bodily harm. "Quien es mas macho?!" Indeed. It is a gift, I do not question it.

Sorry to hear about this. I sneeze pretty powerfully too (serious pneumatic pressure going on there :D ), but have never injured myself.

I know many folks who have unpleasant things happen when they sneeze....
not torn cartilage tho.
Boat drinks tonite and big pharma tomorrow..my kinda remedies!

i am sorry you have injured yourself. I like your sense of humor about it. Your story reminded me of my swimming partner a few years ago. he showed up at the pool for our usual workout and he said he had to pass on the swim that day.... seems he injured him shoulder sleeping. He told me that you know your are getting old when you injure yourself in your sleep! I hope you feel better soon...
