Gordon Lightfoot Forums - Walter White aka Gordon Lightfoot ??

This Sunday marks the finale of the AMC TV series Breaking Bad. Millions of fans will gather around their televisions, hoping to see answers to questions like, Is Walt going to die? Is Jesse? What about those Nazis? Skyler's probably safe, right? Or is she? Is Walt Jr. gonna do something breakfast-related?

And by a stroke of luck, we recently came across a bunch of old Gordon Lightfoot promo shots from the late '60s and early '70s. Before Lightfoot had a beard, he kind of looked like Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston.

It's hard to compare Lightfoot with the character of Walter White because there are no shots of Lightfoot with a shaved head, glasses and goatee. Even the shots of Lightfoot with facial hair somehow ruin the effect.

However, using a sophisticated computer imaging system (a 2003 version of Photoshop), we have determined that young Gordon Lightfoot is Walter White.
Whoa, that's a lot to take in! What does it all mean for the series finale? Well, we have a few theories:

• Walter White will emerge from hiding and begin
performing folk music in Toronto coffee houses —
though he'll perform with his back to the audience so
nobody gets suspicious.
• White will write the classic song "The Wreck of the
Pontiac Aztek."
• Lightfoot will add another chapter to his "Canadian
Railroad Trilogy" all about a methylamine heist, and
everything going great until stupid Todd does his thing.
• Maybe a Twitter hoax about the death of Heisenberg,
which is disproved when he performs at the Grey Cup,
distributing blue meth to all the football fans.
• In a twist ending, it turns out White is a clone, created by
the brilliant scientist Lightfoot. White will be killed but his
fortune will be transferred to Lightfoot. The closing shot is
a zoom out from Lightfoot's mansion to reveal a pizza on
the roof.
