Sue Lemcke
 

I wondered why I hadn't read anything from Sue lately, and found that she passed away on May 17th. Some of you probably knew it already, but I was unaware.
Sue was part of the old Gordon Lightfoot chat room we had, then came up to one of our big "conventions" in Toronto, probably around 1999. That was the only time I got to meet her, I wish there had been more. She was a very funny, sarcastic, smart woman, my kind of person.
Just wanted to let a few of you know in case you were like me and hadn't heard.

oh dear, that's very sad news. I think I last e-mailed with her may have been when tickets for the last Massey shows were on sale. Was she here in 2001? Very sad news...

I remember Sue from the first GL chat room. In fact, she was one of the first Lightfoot fans that I chatted with on the internet when I discovered that room so many moons ago. RIP Sue.

I am so sorry to hear this. I only met Sue once, back in 2003. We spoke the last time Gord was here in Austin, but she was not able to to go to the concert.
My condolences go out to her family and close friends.
