Approaching Verlander
If you watch Sportscenter on ESPN, you know that on the left of the screen, there is a list of upcoming discussion topics. And this morning, when they were discussing the Yankees having to face Tigers ace Justin Verlander, the blurb on the screen announced that discussion as Approaching Verlander. We know that Mike Golic of Mike and Mike is a Lighthead; it appears that one of their writers might be one also :)

Re: Approaching Verlander
lol!
And I'm surprised they haven't 'approached' Verlanders g.f. - Sports Illustrated cover girl Kate Upton...his grandpa spilled the beans.. http://www.thehollywoodgossip.com/ga...rs/kate-upton/ At first glance I thought you had spelled Lavendar wrong in the subject line....lol |
Re: Approaching Verlander
And a lovely job he's doing so far, eh? Go Tigers!

Re: Approaching Verlander
Yup, the Yankees didn't do much approaching last night. Also, if Tigers manager Jim Leyland were an actor, he could easily play Gordon Lightfoot in a movie. And vice versa ;)

niffer, agreed... + you were part of the thread discussion we had previously:clap: http://corfid.com/vbb/showthread.php...hlight=leyland but Leyland would have to work on the Orillia dialect, big time.... |
Re: Approaching Verlander
Wow, I had totally forgotten about that! Last year I was still grieving the Brewers' loss to the Cards.
Thanks for the reminder, JJ :) |
