TORONTO, Nov. 30, 2011 /CNW/ - In time for the holiday season, True North Records is offering limited edition signed albums from three of Canada's most popular folk artists: Gordon Lightfoot, Bruce Cockburn and Murray McLauchlan, exclusively through its online shop, www.truenorthrecords.com.

Gordon Lightfoot's Harmony, Bruce Cockburn's Small Source of Comfort and Murray McLauchlan's Human Writes are the latest releases from these three Canadian folk legends. The triple CD package of autographed CDs is $49 with free shipping, while quantities last.

Harmony is Gordon Lightfoot's 20th album. Since emerging from the Toronto folk club scene in the early '60s, he has had five GRAMMY nominations and has won 17 JUNO Awards. In November 1997, he was presented the Governor General's Award for his international efforts in spreading Canadian culture. Lightfoot is currently on tour across Canada.

In his over 40-year career, Murray McLauchlan has won 11 JUNO Awards and received 24 nominations. As one of Canada's most decorated artists, McLauchlan was appointed to the Order of Canada in 1993. Last month, McLauchlan released Human Writes, his first album of new, original material in 15 years.

Bruce Cockburn's songs, along with his humanitarian work, have brought Cockburn a long list of honours, including 11 JUNO Awards, an induction into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame and a Governor General's Performing Arts Award. Small Source of Comfort is Cockburn's latest album and was released in March 2011. It's a collection of songs of romance, protest and spiritual discovery.
