Billy Joel was on Howard Stern's show this morning. Another great, long, very revealing interview that only Howard can pull off. Billy mentioned he's a big Lightfoot fan. He said he would've loved if Gord had covered his song "Downeaster Alexa". What a great song.

I"ve read that Billy fashioned that song after The Wreck...it was written about the fisherman near Long Island and the tough times they've had making a living..His boat was named for his daughter Alexa.
