I'd Do It Again.
What do you personally think of this song?
It certainly went against what Gordon was known for considering he was strictly a folk artist and this was more of a rock song? |
Re: I'd Do It Again.
I love it. Especially Terry's solo in the middle somewhere.

Re: I'd Do It Again.
I've always liked that song, but my favorite version of it was by Suzi Vinnick at the tribute shows at Hugh's Room. I know it's sacrilege to say that, but she just blew the roof off with the chorus. Ever since that, I've loved the song even more.

Terrific song... I would have always liked to be at one of his concerts in the 70's to see him; 'do it again'.
Another one would be, "Sometimes I Don't Mind" |
Re: I'd Do It Again.
I believe the song embraces the solitary life of the musician along the lines of "Homeward Bound," "Turn the Page" and others. It is more subtle in this one, but it is there.
JJ, I agree about "Sometimes I Don't Mind." "Broken Dreams" could fall in the group too. |

driving beat... catchy melody... positive vibes. how can you not love it?!

Re: I'd Do It Again.
Yes it`s a rocker but represents his versatility and willingness to compose out of "his box" - hence Broken dreams.Always his best are the social commentary lyrics interwoven with life`s experiences.
