Merry Christmas Everyone & All the best for a fabulous 2010
 

I don't get on here very often, just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas & all the best for a great 2010...It's been a year of change for Peewee....After 15 years in the Corporate world took early retirement & am back to playing & recording fulltime....that's what I was put on this planet to do....sure makes me happy to be out with all the great fans again....just finished 6 weeks with George Canyon www.georgecanyon.com and enjoying time with my family & little Grand Girls before we hit the road with Alan Jackson again, mid January....a lot of the dates have not been updated on his web..Lots of exciting stuff this year....Played Orillia Opera House in December just after Gord & the boys....George Canyon name was on same marquis & it was kind of strange playing that stage that I played with Gord....I had a lot of great years, 15 to be exacat & saw so many great fans like all of you on corfid that still remember old Peewee...Thanks so much....it was a great ride & I'm fortunate enough to do it over again....All the best to everyone & say hi to Gord & my old family when you see them down the road...Health & Happiness to everyone....Peewee www.myspace.com/peeweecharles

Lisa and I hope to see you sometime in 2010.
A huge hi-lite of 2009 was finally meeting up with you and having such a great time at the GC show.
We'll keep watch for GC shows around here in 2010 so we can get together. I hope he updates the tour schedule on his website - let me know if there's shows around Toronto coming up..
Maybe we'll even see you at a Lightfoot show! check www.lightfoot.ca for his tour dates.

p.s. - I'm following "Kevin" and his Hawaii holiday..looks nice!

Great to hear from you Mr. Charles! :) I'm one of many here who have the early LP's w /Gordon & you & co. . ;)

Had the good fortune of seeing the '60s CBC clip of you guys recording "Pussywillows-CatTails" a few months back.

Hope your holiday was good to and have a great New Year as well. I hope you , Gordon & the rest all live to 100 + . :cool:

Mr. Charles, I certainly hope you have a good 2010, also! it was a bit of a surprise to come on Corfid and see you here! I'm an old time Gord fan, and i stop by on occasion to see what is going on.
Here in Ohio, it is 2308 (11:08 PM for civilians) on December 31st, so I'd like to wish everybody a great 2010. 2009 has been a recovering year for me; we lost my mom in 2008 rather unexpectedly. My birth family is still being ugly (I'm trying to be nice here - "ugly" is a vast understatement) but my in-laws are absolutely beautiful folks. my own bunch is doing well. I will try and stop by more often.

I have alway wanted to thank you personally for the funny nose and glasses you threw out to me and my daugher at the Puyallup Fairgrounds in Wash. State after a Lightfoot concert. That was your Old Dan Records costume; and I felt bad you didnt ever use that stchick in the concerts thereafter :'D
Thanks again for the great music; I will definitely attend your next concert with your new band when you are in the Seattle area.

Great to see your presence here Pee Wee. Your contribution into the Gordon Lightfoot sound made it's place in there and I always admired your powerful stage presence as well as those tasteful solos you would crank out for us to absorb.

They were always welcomed with thunderous applause from the full house audience as I recall.

Wonderful times they were and seeing that you are here with us still, although in a different venue is a heartwarming feeling.

It's great to know, but not surprising to see that your career is continuing on with the big names seasoned in the business.
