Is the song "Love's Been Good To Me" from the album American V an original Cash song, or is it a cover? If it is a cover, who originally sang it?

It's a cover, Rod McKuen wrote it back in the sixties, Frank Sinatra had a hit with it

I've got that on an Old Kingston Trio record. Great old tune. Sounds like something old and traditional but it's not.
