Is this "groovy" or what?

In my posting to
http://www.corfid.com/vbb/showthread...ight=telegraph I said "my daily bulletin from the UK's Daily Telegraph mysteriously ceased several months ago yet when I checked their site my free subscription still is listed, I even tried changing to another email address to no avail. All very distressing as I did nothing that I know of to merit this and there is no block on their URL.Neither do any of my Google alerts arrive and as strange not a single advice of any replies to topics on corfid to which I have subscribed has appeared in my inbox for about the same lengty of time Am I alone in this problem which has really p...ed me off So if anybody found a reason for this I would be overjoyed to find the solution" Bruna silverheels replied "John, I have experienced the same trouble as you with Daily Telegraph. I am still listed but I do not receive the daily newspaper on line. Really weird." Well good news and bad news. First the bad news:- I still fail to get the Daily Telegraph despite trying to sign up with a different email address but prompted by Susan I checked my regular hotmail email account's blocked sender list and found there and deleted the webmaster at corfid the google alerts an odd Yahoo group a subscription to bulletins from Tech Republic a couple of friends including Char (I think I deleted the telegraph too) Now once an email address is on the blocked sender list all emails from that address are summarily sent direct to the trash bin Now whilst it is possible to inadvertently mark an incoming email as junk, which conceivably could block that address, that is not the same as taking the positive step of actually blocking the address, as far as I know that takes a very definite action. This I patently did not do. The point is that I am now receiving notifications of replies to my corfid subscribed topics again and also the flow of GL Google Alerts, but strangely not the daily Telegraph bulletins. Of course in the meantime the google alerts have usually been highlighted by the charming modem maderator or little non-orphan Annie , but they have so far failed to mention a striking not to say "groovy" tour map site:- An alert today took me to:- Gordon Lightfoot tickets Utica June 25th √ 5 tickets for sale tickets for gordon lightfoot in Utica New York June 25th http://gruvr.com/band/lightfootofficial/ showing a North American map detailing most of the concerts for 2009 yet to come with some omissions:- March 14,Florence IA March 15 Saginaw MI April 17 Thunder Bay April 18 Sault St Marie I have not completely checked those in our local area (a few of which we will be able to get to) but here is a screenshot of them http://www.johnfowles.org.uk/lightfo...ruvr_local.jpg (the complete map is quite a large screenshot and is too large to display here so I'll attach it as a large thumbnail) |
Re: Is this "groovy" or what?
Great. A ticket scalping site. They even sell tickets that aren't on sale yet (Utica).
