Davey Graham has died
 

Davey Graham, a British guitarist and songwriter, died yesterday, December 15th, from a massive seizure at home after a short battle with lung cancer.

He was one of the best guitar players around, and he will be missed. If you visit his web site, you will see that people with far more credentials than I also think so:

He is probably best known for his instrumental "anthem" Anji, which our own Cathy Cowette recorded for her CD, Songs For A Winter's Night (her web site: www.cathycowette.com ).

Interestingly, his domain spells his name "davey", but uses "davy" in the text ... and I spelled it still another way (undoubtedly wrong) on Cathy's web site!
