In a scene not witnessed every day, the annual battle for the coveted Golden Sneaker trophy, the symbol of supremacy of the 9th Annual Trail Relay at Harrison Trimble High School was run yesterday at lunch hour. Teams of students and teachers competed in a relay with each lap being about one kilometre around the school in attire that is only associated with this run. Lauren Johnson of the Damsels in Distress prepares to ‘hand’ off her team’s baton in a valiant attempt to win. Today, the yearly Trojan Trek from the school to The Moncton Hospital will take place in turn raising money for the neo-natal unit at the hospital.
