Would the CHarming moderator personage please remove this superfluous moron from the member list, who cannot possibly be anybody's "good friend" just a ruddy nuisance.
Not only did he/it post here the very same unsolicited message twice but it was on the incorrect forum. and was misleading as it refers only to a free download of the trial version of the software which most likely has stupid restrictions on it like only allowing you to convert a limited number of minutes of a video, I really have too many other things to do to bother to check.
In any case to convert a video file from any almost video format to almost any other format you only need the
one great freeware programe:-

despite umpteen attempts to delete the entire thread the Forum refuses to play ball with me
(the second time this has happenned and currently on two wildly different computer systems and connections

1. lethargic dial up desktop with Windoze XP Internet Exploder 7
2. speedy WiFI broadband Nokia N800 "Internet Tablet" running MAEMO/Debian OS2008 Linux variant and a version (allegedly) of Opera 8

Yes you just might be correct. I simply thought that his spam like repetitive banging on about video conversion programs that are manifestly not freeware and that his myriad postings as thread openers were not directly appropriate in the general discussion forum and were therefore a breach of the correct way to do things and not deserving of a true Gordon Lightfoot fan.I further note that over 24 hours later he/it has not troubled to defend its actions.
The words robot and troll spring to mind
but if you consider that this is the right place for it so be it
Basically whilst not offensive the messages were not really helpful to folks in this bailiwick either.
