Headin' To West Virginia
 

We (all five of us) will be making our way down to see GL Wednesday night at Mountaineer Park in West Virginia. This will be the first time that my whole family will be together to see a show.

Last time GL was close to us for a concert, our youngest (Joey who was four at the time) was going in for open heart surgery. Joey is now 12 (doing quite well...living a normal life) and looking forward to this grand event.

It has been eight years since I saw GL last...looking forward to it.

Eight years is a long time between concerts!

Needless to say, I am sure this will be a special event for you and all your family.
I hope you all have a wonderful time.

When I became a father for the first time my wife had me give my little baby girl (she is now 18) a bath. I didn't know what to do so my wife said sing her a song. So.... I used to sing her "The Wreck Of The Edmund Fitzgerald".... She liked it that daddy was singing to her.

We have always had GL stuff playing through the house. All three of my kids have special favorites.

We are leaving Maryland in an hour and heading to West Virginia. I am soooooooooo excited. I wil send a short report as soon as I can. :)

Hey Wes, it has been about 8 years since you posted too! Seems like it.
I am glad Joey is doing so well. That was a nervous time for you all.
Have a great time - how could you not with the whole family there.
