Mariah Carey replaces Janet Jackson on SNL

NEW YORK - "Saturday Night Live" has replaced a flu-ridden Janet Jackson with another diva: Mariah Carey. Carey, 37, will fill in for Jackson on tonight's (March 15) "SNL" telecast, NBC announced Wednesday.

Jackson, 41, was scheduled to perform live Saturday night in support of her latest album, "Discipline," which was released last month.
The singer reportedly "needs some time to get better."

Hey Jesse Joe, I've noticed that you sometimes post newspaper clippings of Gord articles. They copy great and of course, I'm a collector of all things Gord. In other words, feel free to post others of your probable vast collection. I'd certainly appreciate it.

These articles are from days gone by, can't recall the year ! :confused:

Thanks (belatedly) for the heads up guys but i work on Sun. morning at 6am. Which means beddie-bye at (*ugh*)9:30 or ten! I'm expecting a recording of it very soon though. Someone taped it for me. ;)
