No Mistake
I just want to say that that one picture inside the Harmony booklet that's next to the song No Mistake About It is my favorite picture of all the pictures I've ever seen.

Aengus Finnan told me in an email response that he was still waiting for the maritimes to invite him. Wish they would ! Front row center at The Capitol for me. :) |

Re: No Mistake
I had Gord sign his autograph under this picture on my c.d., as well as my 3 kids backstage one show.
He told me this pic. was taken on Yonge Street. (hmmm, sounds like a song title) I remember him shaking while writing his name, he said, " I can barely write my name anymore." |
Re: No Mistake
The shakiness sounds like task-specific tremor, i.e. it happens when you're trying to perform a specific, voluntary act like signing your name or drinking from a cup. There's even a type called musician's tremor (due, I think, to fine motor skills required to play some instruments.)
There are lots of causes ranging from too much caffeine, recreational drugs, hyperthyroidism, stress, prescription drugs, etc. up to brain injury and neurologic disorders such as Parkinson's. Most causes are fairly benign and treatable - propranolol is commonly used in small doses. My younger brother has what used to be called benign essential tremor (now just "essential tremor" as it can become disabling); he apparently inherited the tendency from our maternal grandfather who also had "the shakes". |
Re: No Mistake
Nice spoon ring picture too.

Re: No Mistake
That last picture (the one changing a guitar string) has a Sundown-era look to it...
|
Re: No Mistake
i think its from the united artists era of the 60s (the guitar string one)
