What GL album has "Wedding Song"
 

I am trying to find out which Gordon Lightfoot album has "The Wedding Song (There Is Love)" and "Time In A Bottle".

I've tried every combination I could on Google searches and went to several Gordon Lightfoot discography sites but I could could not find them.

Please help me as this is drving me crazy!

None of these were recorded by Gord. Try Peter, Paul & Mary for Paul Stookey's 'Wedding Song' and Jim Croce for 'Time In A Bottle'. Both wonderful talents. Sadly Jim passed in a plane crash in the 1970's but PP&M still perform periodically.

Yuri's right - never recorded by Gord. That and several other songs (especially "Brandy" as recorded by Lookinglass) over the years have been listed incorrectly on various music downloads sites as being performed by Gord.

"Brandy" by Looking Glass, as long been one of my fav songs ever. Reminds me of my school days and many sweethearts that I haven't seen in decades. "Daniel" by Elton John is another one. :)

bob dylan also has one called Wedding song (on the Planet Waves album), but it doesnt sound too much like gord

I think that Gord might be able to do a fantastic version of The Wedding Song as well as Time In A Bottle. Maybe someone should ask him what he thinks about the idea.

Gordon did do a wedding song, at least it was a wedding song for me and my wife of 26 years.

It was on August 8th, 1981 when the song "Beautiful" was sung at our wedding Mass. Since then, when we have heard Gord perform that song live many times, our hands find each others (and we are not really public "hand-holders"). We look forward to hearing him sing that song to us next year, and the year after that, and the year after that.

Thanks. I didn't think it sounded like Gordon but the songs were mislabeled by a friend of my son. Thanks.
