I watched a prog. with him recently, talking about his life, his earlier career and why he is back. It was really interesting.

Yeah, I just noticed today that he had a new album. preview song is good. Amazon.com plays a small clip from BBC show featuring him recently.

Cat Stevens is a great talent. I knew this album was coming, thanks for posting it Yuri.

Bought "An Other Cup" at lunch. Nice return of an old friend. Some religious overtones, but pretty subtle (from the songs you wouldn't know WHAT religion, as if it mattered anyway). Logical progression from his earlier work when he was searching for answers -- now he has some. I've always laughed at the folks that treated him like the Boogie Monster for leading life the way he wanted. There is a real comfort in someone like this returning since the world is in such turmoil...these artists are our security blankets! Not sure if the US would let him tour, and what kind of circus that might cause anyway. But boy it'd be sweet to see a performance DVD come about.
