Is anybody else having the problem I am with the JP thread? When I call it up, I get a long white page with a mass of hieroglyphics.
Followed by the usual blue page with nothing but the dates and blnk spaces where the replies should be. Strange. I am getting all other threads with no problem. http://www.corfid.com/ubb/mad.gif |
Its me again. The thread I am talking about is Matthew Bullis's. Although there is no writing on each reply, the smilies are there.
What is happening? |
Seems to be working ok for me...

There is something strange happening here.
I have called up the rogue thread (rogue to me) and called up EDIT > SELECT ALL. All the odd writing was duly highlighted, as I expected. I trawled down to the thread proper, and saw all the replies highlighted! However when I pointed to and clicked on a blank area to clear the highlight, the replies vanished. But the hieroglyphics were still there. Is there a computer buff in the house? If so please tell me, WHAT IS HAPPENING? http://www.corfid.com/ubb/mad.gif |
Somehow I have managed to 'sort it' by simply posting a reply. It seems OK????

If you use Internet Explorer, try going to tools, internet options and then delete your temporary internet files. Delete your cookies, too. Maybe this will help. Cathy, thank you for responding to my problem. I appreciate it. I did manage to to rectify the problem by posting to the thread, and brought everything back to normal. Still baffled though http://www.corfid.com/ubb/smile.gif
