Listening to that track on the new album I was wondering.. is there a live Gordon Lightfoot album out there with him telling stories about the songs??? He's the sort of guy you could sit and listen to all night just telling stories without even hitting a note..

Um not really, unless he does indeed release that Massey Hall concert.

I'd love it if he'd release the Massey Hall album, but in the 25 GL concerts I've seen, he's rarely spoken all that much so don't expect long stories. The preamble he gives for The No Hotel is about as chatty he every is in an entire evening.

I think Gord says it all in his songs! What's the point of having a chatter box on-stage who can't carry a note in a bucket! Save that stuff for the stand-up guys like Seinfeld, Williams and Cosby...
