I'm new to this forum (today actually!), and was just wondering if Gordon Lightfoot himself ever accesses this forum to see what's going on? Does anyone know?

I'm also relatively new to getting back into GL's music after a long time off...I started replacing my enormous old LP collection with CDs (an expensive proposistion that!) and took the occasion to re-listen to a lot of music trying to decide what I'll replace, or not. Needless to say GL's albums were the first to get the CD treatment! Now I'm thouroughly re-hooked! :)

Steve: Those who are "in the know" have mentioned on many occasions that Gord is not into surfing the net. However, who knows what vices he may have acquired during his lengthy recuperation from his untimely health problems. I, too, embarked about six months ago on replacing all of my GL vinyl with CDs and I must tell you it is worth every penny! Welcome back!!
