When running through the football highlights last night on "NFL Tonight" one of the commentators, speaking of the Cleveland game, referred to the windy weather. A shot was played of Lake Erie (I think), and the commentator tried (but failed slightly) to quote Gord by saying, "The winds of November will be remembered" or something to that effect.

Hey, at least he tried.

You're so right Travis,what he should have (at least) said was...."As the Mariners' all know,with the gales of November remembered." ;)

Most folks haven't listened to Gordon Lightfoot as much as we have. :)

Oh well. We all make mistakes sometimes. As i said before I thought Old Dan's Records was Old D----s Records. this of course was when I was small.

I can't even count the number of people who think it's,"Every Highway" instead of "Carefree".

I've met folks new to Phoenix,who thought he made up the carefree part and was saying there's a fictitious highway that will take you to a place with no cares. :) Neat idea though. ;)

I thought it was "every highway" until last year when I got the CDs and lyrics... sure sounds like it.
