I am planning to devise and print a large poster of picture sleeves of Lightfoot albums and singles to affix to our bedroom door to surpass the Beatles one that my step daughter flamboyantly displays on her door (it has 130 different pictures and with the myriad United Artist regurgitations etc I reckon I am getting close with Lightfoot ones so yours will be useful additions (together with the series of humo(u)rous ones that jj created a while back) But do take more care selecting better pictures of our man!! At this rate you will surely displace jj (Jimmy Jones... now where did he go??!!) and the old petomane from Sydney as the most inventive artist around here and I have hardly started so watch out! In passing (no not wind Steve) do you have a sidekick called Zonto and is your horse named Zilver?? http://originaldo.com/Lone-Ranger-Tonto.jpg John Fowles The addition of electric guitar and drums made this one all the more powerful from a Songbook/TWOTEF review at:- http://www.greenmanreview.com/cd/cd_songbook.html |
Is that Jim Arness to the right? I didn't realize there was a crossover episode between the Lone Ranger and Gunsmoke - or is that just a Photoshop pic?
Re-reading that review reminds me how close we came to losing Gord, and how good it is to have him with us still. Actually I wish Jimmy Buffett and Gord *would* put together an album - it'd be great. |
James Arness only did a guest appearance on The Lone Ranger, there was no crossover episode...he played a different character than the one he became famous for in Gunsmoke.

Thanks for clearing that up - I'll sleep better tonight, LOL.

LOL!!! Gawd, where did you find that picture of Gord? He looks pissed...

Any other 'What If" albums anyone would like to see?

Zoneranger, how about a nice album of Celine and Gord for John Fowles he is a great fan of both of them.
