I am from Kentucky U.S.A. - I love Mr. Gordon Lightfoot's Music, and his Lyrics are pure gold. I'm sure a lot of people put little credit with whom the Rock N' Roll hall of fame inducts. To some extent, I agree. Some of the people inducted ? I can't understand why? However, Mr. Lightfoot belongs there, and I have no desire to visit the HOF until he has been inducted. Dylan loves to perform smaller size concerts these days, and he co-headines with other artist. I wish when Mr. Lightfoot is able to tour again, someone would ask him and Dylan about a tour together of the states and Canada. They both admire each other work. What are your thoughts on this? Could someone PLEASE give me an adress to write a short letter to Mr. Lightfoot, and hope to get his autograph. One last thing, my birthday is November 17. Thanks for any comments, and If you have an address I could write him at, please e-mail me at Christopher2005@webtv.net

Fantastic idea of Dylan and Lightfoot together. Wish they'd think of it. At this point I would take Lightfoot and anyone though.
I don't know the address of his office,
Early Morning Productions
Younge St.
Toronto.
Someone will be along soon and give you the whole address.
Welcome.

Christopher,I've posted many times bout wanting Lightfoot in the hall of fame. I couldn't agree more! I think the voters need to listen to Gordon's 19 studio albums and Sunday Concert, then maybe their minds will realize that he deserves it just as much as Dylan. http://www.corfid.com/ubb/smile.gif

Brink,Lightfoot and "anyone"? http://www.corfid.com/ubb/confused.gif
So,that means if the rap group Outkast is the opening act for Gordon, you'll sit there politely and listen to songs like "Hey Ya","Player's Ball" and "I Like The Way You Move" until GL hits the stage? http://www.corfid.com/ubb/biggrin.gif http://www.corfid.com/ubb/biggrin.gif http://www.corfid.com/ubb/biggrin.gif http://www.corfid.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

B, I think I might wait until the opening act is done, then go to my seat. But if I had to yep I'd be right there listening to it all. Since you would be riding with me we'd probably sit close to each other you could tell me when to remove the earplugs! http://www.corfid.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

the only time dylan and lightfoot have played together is on the rolling thunder review in montreal 1975 where he joined dylans show for 2 shows and did a short set. there's a great version of race among the ruins which is done with the acoustic band of the time with some different lyrics. this was before summertime dream came out. dylan didnt play with him, though. gord just did a guest spot.

dylan ahs said that he's cutting down on touring and prefers to play on multi artist events, but he hasnt kept his word and still does 100 shows a year. at the moment, dylan is doing a joint tour with willie nelson.

i'd also love to see them team, being a big fan of both of them

Borderstone, sitting through a little rap doesn't even begin to cover what I'd endure to hear Lightfoot sing. Really.
I've heard their version of Sundown and the first time I did, I laughed at the last verse when they changed the words.
"she's a hard lovin' woman if you know what I mean"? I guess it comes across all wrong if a rapper sings "got me feeling mean". I dunno.
