I'm disappointed to just learn of GL's touring in 2005, with the dates and locations left not really fitting well with my schedule. If only I'd known a couple months ago (I'm in the SouthEast)

Will he be touring in 2006? If so, I may wait to see those dates. If not, I may have to travel pretty far to see him this year.

What are you talking about? It's been well publicized. You can create a Google News alert and Lightfoot news will be deposited in your mailbox.

Gord has already got a Massey Hall date for 2006 so I imagine he has plans for other venues.

What are the Massey Hall date I had a great time last year and want to make this an annual event like I was doing 30 years ago. Meet people from Britain and all over the states so a trip from Ottawa is pretty short

i wasn't told specific dates - just that he was going to be at Massey in November 2006. Lots of times his November dates have run into the day of his birthday-Nov.17...

1988 - Nov.16-19 - birthday during massesy
1991 - Nov.14-16 and 21-23 - missed his birthday
1996 - Nov.13-16
1999 - Nov.11-13
2002 - Nov.13-16 cancelled series
2006 - Nov.- could be 9,10,11 OR 16,17,18

I guess we just sang Happy birthday anyway even tho it wasn't the date!

Bet it will end up being 9th - 11th even though it is early, but it doesn't seel like he wants to play on his birthday. The way the month looks it would be the only option unless he wants to play during the US Thanksgiving but then it would be really late in the month.

I hope he tours in 2006.I missed him this past august in Reading,Pa(and i live 5min.away)I'm hoping to see him in N.J.
