I am a huge Gord fan, who has almost all of the albums. What I don't have, I get when I can. Here in Oklahoma, I have been wholly unable to find ANYPLACE that stocks Harmony. I have checked in our two biggest cities, as well as locally to me and many places along the way.
Is anyone else in the USA having trouble getting the album? |
I haven't looked around here, but if you want it and can't find it, I got one from CD Universe and one from Linus.

jeffyjo,
These days ordering on-line is almost always cheaper even when you add in shipping, I'd use CDUniverse for a quick fix of Harmony. (and you don't pay sales tax, which also helps) Bill http://www.corfid.com/ubb/smile.gif |
CDUniverse is a reliable service... I have gotten a few CD's from them that I ordinarily wouldn't have gotten locally. http://www.corfid.com/ubb/smile.gif

do you have an address for Linus? I would like to e-mail them to encourage them to do more "in-store" stocking in this part of the world. I've never had trouble getting Gord before. http://www.corfid.com/ubb/smile.gif

I would suggest that you contact Shirley Hoggard a huge Gordfan in OK City at oksky@aol.com. (she is the lady about whom I repeated the myth of her having half-inched the Orillia sign in 1998. I bet she has Harmony and might have found a source in OK.Otherwise surely any self-respecing CD store could order it for you?? ------------------ My Gordon Lightfoot webring starts at http://www.johnfowles.org.uk/lightfoot |
I too was having trouble finding Harmony in the major music stores-- Best Buys, Media Play, Circuit City, you name it, none could be found. Then someone in PA mentioned she got hers at Borders. Altho I had to travel a bit to find a Borders, low and behold Harmony was in stock! http://www.corfid.com/ubb/smile.gif

I'm back! Been gone about 3 days.
Hi JeffyJo! http://www.corfid.com/ubb/biggrin.gif Y'know,if you have a Tower records in your city or the next big city, there's a fairly good chance they'll have it. That's where I got mine. Mind you now, they might only have 4 or 5 copies,if any. Tower stocks more GL than any mainstream record store I know of. If it's not there,as was said, try Borders and yes,if all else fails, contact "Linus"! http://www.corfid.com/ubb/wink.gif Or just drive to Ontario!!! http://www.corfid.com/ubb/eek.gif http://www.corfid.com/ubb/smile.gif Been me,Aurevior! http://www.corfid.com/ubb/cool.gif ------------------ "A knight of the road, going back to a place where he might get warm." ;) - Borderstone |
