I would love to meet my ouncle too... If u guys could help me out that would be great.. or even a place where i can get a hold of them
|
I am not sure if you are serious but one thing as far as is known Gordon's siblings comprise one sister who must therefore be your mother and her husband is your father, making Gordon your
(o)uncle. To check your credentials therefore perhaps you could confirm her name for us. In any case I am positive that she would certainly know where and how you could met Gordon Otherwise the address of Gordon's management company is often quoted in these forums for example at:- http://www.corfid.com/ubb/ultimatebb...=003582#000001 You can therefore phone or write, but not email as their/Gord's email addy is a not known or AFAIK never given out (even if it exists) |
Watson -
The Hamilton/Hamilton area isn't that far from Toronto - give a call to EMP and make an appt. to see him...John posted the link for info. or check with your mum for the next time she's visiting him/he's visiting her. I'm sure he'll be surprised to see you! I've only ever known about one nephew. And as mentioned he has only one sister. Let us know how it goes.... |
hey guys im back, i am just about to press the button after i send this messege. My dad is related to him. His name is harold his real name but i dont know if the names he has now were just givin to him back then. reminds me of the song "I'm My Own Grandpa"
video: and lyrics are: I'm My Own Grandpa Lyrics: Dwight Latham, Moe Jaffe Music: Dwight Latham, Moe Jaffe Played by Jerry Garcia with David Grisman Oh, many, many years ago When I was twenty-three I was married to a widow Who was pretty as can be This widow had a grown-up daughter Who had hair of red My father fell in love with her And soon the two were wed This made my dad my son-in-law And changed my very life For my daughter was my mother 'Cause she was my father's wife To complicate the matter Though it really brought me joy I soon became the father Of a bouncing baby boy This little baby then became A brother-in-law to Dad And so became my uncle Though it made me very sad For if he was my uncle Then that also made him brother Of the widow's grown-up daughter WHo of course is my step-mother Chorus I'm my own grandpa I'm my own grandpa It sounds funny I know But it really is so Oh, I'm my own grandpa My father's wife then had a son Who kept them on the run And he became my grandchild For he was my daughter's son My wife is now my mother's mother And it makes me blue Because although she is my wife She's my grandmother too Now if my wife is my grandmother Then I'm her grandchild And every time I think of it It nearly drives me wild For now I have become The strangest case you ever saw As husband of my grandma I am my own grandpa |
Charlene,
That's hilarious. I easily become confused when it comes to family relations. RMD |
Um I hate to say the obvious but I would think that if one were related to somebody famous they would know how to get a hold of them.
:) |
Good one Gord ! I was thinking the same thing myself but what do I know ? LOL

"place i can meet gordon" The correct answer as we approach Massey 2006 is surely the hallowed Hall itself and if Watson contacts EMP by phone or letter and declares that Gordon is "Mon Oncle" i reckon he'd have a fighting chance of being able to meet him after one of the concerts John Fowles This topic has revived pleasant memories of the great 1958 comedy film called coincidentally "Mon Oncle" by "Tatty Jack" If you ever saw it you'll never forget the architectural wonders of his house http://www.classic.archined.nl/news/0301/tati2.jpg and especially the decoration of his Swimmimg Pool http://h1.ripway.com/johnfowles/hulot.jpg I really must try to find a library with a copy it is many years since I last saw Monsieur Hulot in that film or his earlier 1953 "vacances" epic http://www.eastwestgallery.co.uk/web...ages/ec_24.jpg John Fowles Please note that I have not strayed off topic as it was after all, all about Watson's so-called (o/(u)ncle wasn't it? |
