Was the song MOTD a re-recording on Gords Gold, or was it just remixed?
|
I could be wrong, but I thought all those
songs on Record 2 (for those who bought the vinyl) were the origional recordings. Gord wasn't happy with how he sounded on the United Artists recordings, that's why he re-did those, but left the Warner Bros. recordings alone. There may have been some remixing done, but in '75 when Gord's Gold came out, those Warners recordings weren't that old.... |
It said in the booklet they had redone the 1st 10 tracks, but they might have been including "For Lovin' Me/Did She Mention My Name" for two.

I know for a fact that the then, more current selections are the originals. Unless they were redubbed into some kind of modern stereo? http://www.corfid.com/ubb/confused.gif
