He said that he hadn’t really wanted to move, but the rest of the family did, so he decided to “Go with the flow.” ) Restless Mistrel of the Dawn (instrumental on “Steppin Fetchit” verse Baby Step Back Alberta Bound (in response to request, Gord said, “We can do that one.”) Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald (intermission) Second Set - black tee shirt All the Lovely Ladies Waiting For You Fading Away Shellfish (Gord was playfully insistent upon singing this, despite numerous audience requests for oldies) Let it Ride If You Could Read My Mind A Painter Passing Through Early Morning Rain Blackberry Wine Song for a Winter’s Night (mentioned that it was written during Cleveland summer thunderstorm overlooking the Cuyahoga River) Canadian Railroad Trilogy Encore Old Dan’s Records (after the encore, Gord returned for a final bow) Gord was generally in good voice. ------------------ "And the laughter came too easy for life to pass me by." |
