There is a placeholder on GL's page on Linus' website--it looks like that is where users will at least be able to sample the new video for "Inspiration Lady"...Have to keep on eye on that!

There's also a place for touring dates indicating "coming soon" - yippee!

I believe that the placeholder you are refering to (in the Pictures section) is for the "Buy" link: to buy the album when it is for sale from their site. If you look at other artists, you'll see that's where they put the "Buy" link. When they have videos, they are in a separate section. The videos on the Linus site are not streamed but can be downloaded; I don't think they will have the Lightfoot video on their site in that manner. They have talked about streaming only, from Itunes and from "various" Lightfoot sites. I told them I would be interested in streaming it, but so far I have heard nothing further and have not received either the file or any other information.

Annie, I wouldn't overinterpret that. They have exactly the same link - with no dates - for every other artist on their web site. I would be surprised to see any dates for Gord so soon after his surgery. That link on the Linus site is the same for everybody, so it doesn't say anything about Gord specifically.

Oh, heck, I wouldn't expect to see actual dates posted until this fall for next spring, assuming (fingers crossed) everything went well with surgery and recovery. It's just nice to see a forward-looking sign like that.

Val, thanks for all the work you're doing with Linus for your website. I visit often to see what's up and was glad you had the samples there and hope you get the video too.
