Well,I haven't heard it yet but how would he compare? If he did it close to Gord's version but still adding his own personality to it,then I think he'd be applauded favorably. If he tries to make it into some form of loud, obnoxious grunge or metal or some weird concoction, then GL fans might just call for his public humiliation! http://www.corfid.com/ubb/biggrin.gif Seriously though,if he did the 2nd thing,I just wouldn't buy it. Borderstone, outta here and Alberta Bound.

I'm in Jax Fl here and I just got did listening to Tom Mays version of the song. It took forever for this slow computer to download it but it played fine.
The song itself sounds good however it sounds almost nothing like Gordon Lightfoots version of it. The lyrics are still the same and the tune is to but on a lower note and the rhythm is different. You'll half to hear it to know what I mean. (This has bin, and will again be, DMD3!) Outta hear and dreamworld bound!!!!!!! |
