One of my all time favorite sons has got to be "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald". I think it's because of the power and emotion that Gord put into the song. The whole idea of a shipwreck has always been something that I have followed. I believe that I went down on a ship in a previous life, therefor I have this strange draw to anything having to do with them. I think that the way it was put together in 3/4 time with the electric guitar's sound coming together make it much like a symphony. It truly is an amazing song. One that will live in my mind for the rest of my life. Thank you, Gord, for writing such a beautiful song.
