I have been in contact with my local PBS station. Evan though they will not be showing the special they emailed me the setlist for it. I posted it under the PBS in Virginia, but I don't know how many of you have checked that one. Anyway here it is again.
Act one 1. "Carefree Highway" 2. "Sundown" 3. "Don Quixote" 4. "I'll Prove My Love" 5. "Wreck Of The Edmund Fitzgerald" Act two 6. "Rainy Day People" 7. "Baby Step Back" 8. "Fading Away" 9. "Shadows" 10. "If You Could Read My Mind" Act three 11. "Early Morning Rain" 12. "Make Way For The Lady" 13. "Song For A Winters Night" 14. "Canadian Railroad Trilogy" They also said the release date will be Dec 2nd. The concert should be available for purchase on vhs at $10.00, cd for $8.00, cassette for $6.00, and possibly dvd for $14.00. Now this is what was sent to me by my local PBS station . If anyone would like to read the original email just let me know and I'll send it to you. I'm still looking for a place to purchase these, and when I find one I'll let you know. ------------------ "If people could look into each other's eyes What a wonderful place this world would be" GL |

Well according to my PBS rep. the video will be available a couple of months after airing. If you want a copy you can try PBS video at
1-800-328-7271. They also said it may be available at amazon.com. ------------------ "If people could look into each other's eyes What a wonderful place this world would be" GL [This message has been edited by Paul J B (edited November 06, 2000).] |

Thanks for the skinny, Paul J B. I'm confident you'll keep us abreast.
-David How amazing it is that PBS stations run some of the maneur they do at the expense of better programs (i.e. Lightfoot special). [This message has been edited by classicmixdj (edited November 06, 2000).] |

classmixdj,
I agree with your editorial comment re: PBS programming. I watch a lot of PBS and sometimes I just don't understand what the programming directors were thinking when they put some of the programs on the air. Somebody must be watching it, however, because these oddball broadcasts keep showing up and they wouldn't if it didn't get $$upport. Sheila-B |
