I have a good hunch it will be a great display of art by some very inspired Lightfoot fans!...I'll let everyone know about it in the next couple of weeks probably. I'm hoping to get down on the 6th of Oct...

Thanks for posting the new poster. The opening reception is tomorrow night(Wed,. Oct.4/06). We hung the art today and it looks great..some truly inspired interpretations of the man's music and lyrics. Maybe we'll cross paths there one day. Hope you enjoy it!

I'm hoping to get down on Friday night....just have a few plans to check out...I'll be in touch Victoria.

I was wondering if anyone made it to the exhibit.

Lots of folks made it over to the exhibit -
I'm working on a trip/concert report and will have a link to pics etc.
The exhibit was beautiful and it was intriguing to see the images each artist produced with inspiration from Lightfoot tunes.
Many of us met a couple of the artists as well.
It certainly added a new dimension to the event this year!

I am looking forward to your report and seeing the pics from the art exhibit. I love artwork especially art that is inspired by nature and history which no doubt many of these must be.
