The song "Your Love's Return" off IYCRMM is subtitled "Song for Stephen Foster." Does anyone know the significance of that?

It's just a guess but I assume Stephen Foster must have been an influence on Lightfoot's music. "Your Loves Return" sort of has that haunting quality that Fosters music had. And, Like Foster, we know that Lightfoot liked to drink in his younger years, fortunately it did not kill Lightfoot. Again, it's just a guess. But Foster's music was so ahead of it's time in depth I can see why GL would dedicate a song to him. Joe
