yes ... Yes. It is that time again 9:05 on Saturday night to join lost souls like Bill Hall in a mindless social experience. (Not there is anything wrong with it)

Hmm, I dropped by both fri and sat at the appointed time but the room was always empty. I did it through mirc, and it did say I was in #gordonlightfootchat.

Was anyone actually there? Maybe I was in a black hole?

Maybe David although a week ago Susan had the same problem
But I got in on both the last two Fridays (6th and 13th)(using mIRC) and last Saturday (7th)and found many there each time a maximum of 13 this past Friday as befitted the date (January 13th)
I can only suggest that although I consider mIRC
to be generally most reliable if it happens again close mIRC And click the new Blue "Applet" button on my revised opening page at

This maybe irrelevant .(No snickering from those who consider all my posts irrelevant) lol. I went into John's chatline with ease on your Fri using the link John provided in his post via mIRC.
Then on Sat. your time I tried via mIRC with the link provided by talbot10 aka the man Char tried to bring in "From The Forest" aka "Golden Tonsils" aka "The Suckup King" aka the artist Bob Dylan should have used for "I Shall Be Released". Oh yes. I write of our highly prized modest and very talented poster & chatter Mr Bill Hall ,(and unsung hero of the Big Apple).
It failed. So I used the applet and got in easily.

My point ? Not sure. Never trust a musician providing technical links (?) or ( more likely), it was dodgy for no known reason that afternoon.

PS CHATTERS : In late breaking news another Wild Colonial Boy is likely to join us V soon!!!

Okay Steve, in Bill's defense, I must say that I used the link he provided with mIRC and zipped in without difficulty. Looking forward to meeting another chatter from Oz.
