Does anybody in the forum know where I can purchase Lightfoot items like T-shirts, posters etc.? I once had a great poster, it followed the "Dream Street Rose" album.

It is fairly well known and very evident to anybody going to a GL conceert that Gord and his organisation make no effort at selling "merchandise" of any description.Indeed except for possibly a bland page and picture in the theatres free hand out you do not even nowadays have the opportunity to acquire anything even vaguely resembling a souvenir.in the 60's and 70's glossy brochures were available I have one from London June 1972 that is very similar, but not identical to the 1969 one shown on this site at:-
http://www.corfid.com/gl/frank.htm
I have heard it said that Gordon feels that his fans, having already paid out for concert seats(certainly the prices for theses have escalated this year) should not have to shell out for more things at the concert.
Fortunately as Bill has already said certain posters, guitar picks etc are occasionaly available from ebay
a search today for "gordon lightfot posters " reveals three current auctions:-

1.Summertime Dream Promo Poster at:-
http://cgi.ebay.com/Gordon-Lightfoot...QQcmdZViewItem

http://i16.ebayimg.com/01/i/06/62/6c/f6_1.JPG
24" square

2.Gordon Lightfoot Poster Old Fitzgerald at:-
http://cgi.ebay.com/Gordon-Lightfoot...QQcmdZViewItem

http://www.postersultan.com/posters/...er10-24-02.jpg
also 24" aquare

3.Gordon Lightfoot Poster OLD 70s face shot at::-

http://www.postersultan.com/posters/...er10-17-02.jpg
19" x 25"

Or
4.GORDON-LIGHTFOOT-GUITAR-PICK at:-

Very occasionally a rip-off tee shirt appears.
I think I am correct in saying they are rarely if ever more than a simple print of an album's artwork on a basic plain white tee
You can agree or disagree with the official approach but that is the fact of the matter

I personally feel that a simple stand peddling the available CDs would be a non-intrusive service for concert going fans but there you have it or don't have it!
