There's this very bad movie called "The Buttercream Gang". There's a song in it and I don't remember any of the lyrics except it going like this: "Won't you please tell me where tomorrow is", or something like that.( That might be the name of the song, would'nt surprise me)

I've never heard of this movie before but looked it up on IMDB.com. Made in 92, never heard of any of the actors either. 3 songs listed: Dreams of a Better Day by Kurt Bestor, sung by Judd Maher, Up & Up and Only One Night, both written & performed by Liz Burrell. Hope this helps.

I think that's the name. Later at lunch I'll look up the lyrics. Thanks.

I believe this is what you were looking for...

Dreams of a Better Day
by Kurt Bestor
performed by Judd Mahar

Lookin' back on a younger man
long ago and far away
living in an age of innocence
in the shadows of a brighter day
Time stood still and it never seemed
that our worlds would grow apart
It was all for one, and one for all
straight from the heart

Bring back those days
that we hoped would never end
wash away troubles and sorrow
those starry nights when each wish came true
can't you send all those yesterdays to tomorrow

Won't you please tell me where to find him
and that life with a storybook end
Can't you please tell me where to find him
Maybe he's found in a fairytale
with those dreams of a better day

Life on the streets has taught me
to see the world through different eyes
what was love your neighbor as yourself
now hides behind the lies
You start thinking you can have it all
the world is yours to take
So you fill your cup with emptiness
and promises you make

Bring back those rains
and wash my cares away
and dry my eyes with the sunlight
and on that star only one small wish I pray
bring him home again

Won't you please tell me where to find him
and that life with a storybook end
Can't you please tell me where to find him
Maybe he's found in a fairytale
with those dreams of a better day

I know that my parents have the old VHS at their house somewhere. I will try to post this song on YouTube when I get the tape cuz I've really wanted to hear this song again. Look under user "schlenbea" on YouTube and I'll try to post within the next month or so.

Apparently, you weren't the only one who didn't care for the song, because I've tried searching for it as well, and it's pretty much impossible to find. It must not have been worth uploading.

I must not've been. Oh well, this was back when I needed the song to ease the pain of love-loss. I don't need it now.
