I'm going to assume that all Lightfoot fans
have a thirst for any and all incredibe music. I called my Mother the other day and asked what the name of the song that I liked
as a kid. She forced me to sing it. I'm sure that my singing was nothing like the actual song.
My Mom said the song was The Times of our Lives by Paul Anka. I found it on CD and bought it.
Does anybody rememer this song?

Goodmorning yesterday.
You wake up, and time has slipped away.
And suddenly it's hard to find,
The memories you left behind.

Do you remember?

The laughter and the tears.
The shadows of misty yesteryears.
The good times and the bad you've seen,
and all the others in between.

Do you remember the times of your life?

END LYRICS
I was wanting to know if anyone else remembers this song? If you've never heard
it, and you like what GL can do to good lyrics than give it a listen because this song puts me in the same frame of mind that
GL does. AND THAT'S A BIG COMPLIMENT.

I recall the song. I think Kodak used it for a while, to sell film. Though I'm not an Anka fan, I consider it a pretty melody. (There's a worship song at our church that uses a similar melody, and for years I've been trying to sing the Anka song to my wife...to show her the similarity...but to no avail. Now I've got authentic lyrics, so maybe this will help! Thanks!)
