But anyway on a site about Buddy Holly and it mentions him being in a group also called The Two Tones. Obviously this was before he formed The Crickets and became famous and Gordon and Terry were probably not aware of this at the time. |

Hey Touhy,it's no surprise there was another Two Tones. It's a given thing about musicians in that most of them think alike.
Before there were the Motown "Temptations",there was a 1 hit wonder group w/the same name. In the 70s another 1 hit w. called Sweet Sensation and then the more successful 2nd act that had a few hits in 1990,including the #1 hit,"If Wishes Came True". Thankfully,these coincidences are few and far between. I wonder if Holly's Two Tones have any recordings? |
