I'll second that.

My happiest memories of television include the pint-sized Ronnie Corbett delivering his weekly monologue from that big armchair (I last saw him in an episode of "Little Britain") and his gifted partner Ronnie Barker (who went on to portray unforgettable characters in "Porridge" and "Open All Hours").

This may not mean much to Americans or Canadians, it is quite British. But very funny.

we've (Canada) always rec'd a lot of the BBC shows so that the many Brits who live here could always see their fave shows.. I've caught many over the years. The Two Ronnies were hilarious..

The Two Ronnies. Crossed Lines [HD] - YouTube

Success I wonder if Florian will read this thread and find out what has gone wrong with the parsing of YouTube URLs again.
Anyway I can never get enough of The two Ronnies
when I played that video my browser automatically progressed to the next video in the list the classic Mastermind sketch
I have just looked up the wiki for that great quiz program and found a fact that I had not heard before
"Devised by Bill Wright, the basic format of Mastermind has never changed—four and in later contests five or six contestants face two rounds, one on a specialised subject of the contestant's choice, the other a general knowledge round. Wright drew inspiration from his experiences of being interrogated by the Gestapo during World War II."
Thzt video hash Barker doing a most creditable Icelandic accent as a sit in for Magnus Magnusson
